It's been quite a while since I recommended a book... Yes, I've still been reading, I just haven't come across anything recent that lights my fire. Until now. Mark Sanborn has a new book titled "The Encore Effect - How to Achieve Remarkable Performance in Anything You Do". And since it is every loan officer's dream to have a business full of referrals, this seemed like a great subject for our profession.
If you remember, Mark Sanborn wrote a bestseller a few years back on customer service "The Fred Factor", which I also highly recommend. He now has a second great book to add to his resume. The Encore Effect is a short, simple read that helps you pinpoint how you can give a "wow" experience to everyone you come in contact with. With the struggles our industry has been facing, it is imperative that you have passion and excitement for what you do. Repeat business is essential to success.
