I'm hitting the road today for a much-anticipated road trip to Alaska. I'm calling it the mother-of-all roadtrips.
I will be working some while I'm on the road and watching whales, but if you have questions or problems with your Next Best Thing Coaching or Competitive Edge Newslettersubscription, Jaidi Clayton will be your best resource (jaidi@blisssawyer.com)
I also have plans to keep this blog fresh with lots of great ideas, tips and tools. And you won't want to miss my July giveaway - it's fabulous! I'm also hoping to connect with a few originators along the way and will pass along any new ideas I happen to stumble across.
Happy driving!

Bliss, have a terrific time! I lived in Alaska for 6 months every year during the 80's. We actually were commercial fisherman until th3e Exxon Valdez oil spill took the livelihood away.
You will discover that it is very much a small town- people leave their keys in their car, everyone knows everyone- even in Anchorage, the biggest small town they have, it's very much like the 1950's!
I still have good friends there and I keep up with how things are going. The fishermen have a different life, so the mortgage industry is a little different up there. The banks are used to the fishing life- they have their own bank, and credit unions are set up to accomodate, as are fishermen's co-op's. It's a new challenge to lend in that area!
If you want some people to chat with, let me know, I can hook you up!
Best of luck for a safe and lovely trip. Enjoy the wild life and most of all, relax. The pace is MUCH slower around there!

Marshall - I'm not cycling to AK, but I did bring a road and mountain bike... so it should be a blast. And interestingly enough - Our trip motto is "Enjoy the journey" It takes a LOT of journey to get from TX to AK. Thanks for your comment!
