As I have been chatting with Realtors lately, I found that one of the "talking points" I utilize makes a pretty big impact. (One of the days, I'll post a list of talking points for ya'll) This is something my bff Louise from Louisiana taught me. When a prospect has credit or income challenges that keep them from qualifying, never say never.
You might need to say "not right now" and then give guidence on how they can get to the point of qualifying. Realtors love the positive attitude and I always mention that I plan on being in this business six months, two years and even five years from now, so why wouldn't I give hope, direction and then stay in touch until their referrals ready.
Let your Realtors know that you want to help their business today and in the future and this is one of the ways you accomplish this.
